Great Indonesian food
Besides Indonesia itself, the other place where you can eat great Indonesian food is the Netherlands, due to the legacy of colonialism and the East India Company. In Amsterdam there are many Indonesian restaurants but one of the best, no doubt, is the Tujuh Maret, where you can taste the typical "Rijsttafel", a rice table with 22 bowls of vegetables, meat and chicken with varying degrees of spice. An adaptation of the great Indonesian food to suit the appetite of the Dutch settlers. Of course you have to be hungry!
