Charming little port
The beautiful island of Tudy is opposite Loctudy and its charming little port dedicated to prawn fishing. On the island, narrow streets await you as well as low houses built typically with its back to the sea along a 3km long beach. It is a pleasant tourist destination hidden among trees. The port of Sainte-Marin is one of the jewels that you visit on the island. Leave behind the mainland and set a course for this typical walled town. In the past, the island was connected to the mainland. The town is covered with sand and salt water with every high tide. Almost ten centuries later, Tudy island became a peninsula with the construction of a road on a dyke.
Its charm and unique personality attracted wealthy Britons and Parisian artists. Between rocky coves and pine trees, this charming little port with its seaside terraces, invite you to a break away from the tourist crowds of Benodet. By the way, there are sharks although they are harmless, they only eat plankton. They don't like how humans taste.
