Tu Trufa

Tu Trufa is a small and recently-opened gourmet shop in the Mercado Vallehermoso that specializes in one thing and one thing only: truffles. While Spain does have its own truffle regions, Tu Trufa sources its truffles directly from the forests of Italy and explains them with a passion and a respect for the product that’s truly contagious!

When we sat down at the bar, the friendly Italian owner immediately popped open several glass jars containing various types of black truffles and a small case containing the holy grail: fresh Italian white truffles, in season and as beautiful as you can imagine. As soon as they popped the lid, the whole atmosphere filled with an addictive aroma that stayed with us the rest of the day.
