World heritage site

This place is located northwest of Botswana, about 53 kilometers from Shakawe, the overgrown nature give the appearance of being a soft wavy landscape. UNESCO declared it a world heritage site and in addition to being among the oldest historical sites in the world, it's approximately 3,000 years old. There are four hills that rise abruptly in the heart of the Kalahari Desert. The main attraction are the more than 4,500 rock paintings, which are a vivid example of the manifestation of religious and spiritual civilizations that have inhabited the area throughout history. Notable is the atmosphere of spirituality that inhabits the hills.

Man Hill is the highest of the four that make up this beautiful landscape and is located next to Women hill which covers three times the area of the first, but its shorter. As for the paintings, the most interesting is the zebra of a small outcrop, now the logo of the museums and monuments of Botswana, there are more animals like whales and penguins, among many other events. Such is the variety of paintings of this place that several days are necessary to do a complete tour of the place and to observe the paintings properly.
