Good value
The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Porto, but nearby is a metro stop which drops you at the centre. It is very clean, and the rooms are spacious. The smoking rooms have a large terrace - maybe a bit too big, it would have been better to have more space in the rooms instead. Ask for a room overlooking the city centre; the view on the other side is far from pretty. There's free wifi throughout the hotel, although in some rooms the signal is very weak. The breakfast is good - all the food is great - and for 3 euros, you can eat it in your room. The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions, and although most of the area nearby has paid parking, there's a street next to the hotel without any parking meters.
