Orange's story is as old as the Roman Empire, and the proof is in the wonderful ruins located in this small town in France. The Arc de Triomphe is believed to be built during the reign of Emperor Augustus, and later rebuilt by the Emperor Tiberius, hence the inscription, dating from 27 BC and is dedicated to him .
