Highest waterfalls in Germany
In the center of the small town of Triberg, in the Black Forest, the rushing Gutach river forms a frothy waterfall which at 163 meters and with seven levels, makes it the highest waterfall in Germany. The waterfalls are accessible throughout the year and provide a stunning backdrop in winter. There are three marked trails to see the waterfalls: the nature way, the culture way and the waterfalls way; each giving the best views, but all the waterfalls look fabulous within the great, natural beauty of the environment.
