Travelodge Leicester Center
The hotel chain Travelodge is one of the most respectable in the United Kingdom, and if you look at the website before traveling, say between 2 months and 15 days before you go, you can find very good deals. As you can see, the rooms at the Travelodge Central Leicester are spacious and comfortable. All of them have a private bathroom, the bed is large and there is a sofa bed in the room if you have two or three children, or four friends, all of them can stay in the same room. In Leicester, I paid 32 pounds a night and made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. If you don't reserve ahead it's 50 pounds, which is still a good deal for such a central location.
You are just off High Street, the main street in Leicester with all the businesses, and five minutes away from the bus station. The train is a little further away, fifteen minutes but there are no direct buses. At the Travelodge website, you can reserve a dinner, which costs £ 8, and breakfast. It's not the best food in the world, but it's convenient because the restaurants in small towns tend to close rather early.
