Trapiche
Trapiche is a mostly urban farm that has about 712 inhabitants, which arose in the 18th century, specifically in 1724, and is located just a few kilometers north of Velez-Malaga on highway C-335. The houses here tend to be below the ground floor (although today you can already see some buildings that are somewhat higher), and are located on the sides of the road. The town's main monument is the small church of the Parish of San Isidro. It owes its name to the sugar-extracting "mill" that was built in 1728.
