Transit

Transit is a Portuguese coffeehouse in Schlesische strasse in the Berlin Kreuzber neighborhood. In this street there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It is a pretty and popular place to go. It is run by a Portuguese couple, who prepares the meals themselves. Quiches, pies, soups of the day and sometimes more special dishes. There are a few tables outside, but the atmosphere is inside with good music, sometimes provided by one of the waiters. I recommend the stuffed peppers, the moussaka and prawns in coconut milk. In general the vegetables are provided by an organic farm. Before this place was called Ohio.
