Traditional Chinese Pharmacy

It is said that Hangzhou is the oldest and largest Chinese pharmacy. It is a traditional building, with two floors and a courtyard that serves as a skylight to the great hall, where you can buy and also take medicines that have been freshly prepared on-site. The building also has an interesting museum of pharmacy around the patio, where there are many herbs growing that are used as ingredients for the medicines. Even better, you can taste the famous green tea for free.
