Town of Buggerru
Buggerru (in Sardinian Bujèrru) is a town with 1,163 inhabitants in Italy. The city was founded in 1864, having less than 500 inhabitants. However, with work provided by the mines, in the early twentieth century it grew to nearly 6,000, of which approximately 3,000 people were working in the mines, owned by the French company, Malfidano. Currently the mines are not activly worked, although a visit to see them is possible. If you get the opportunity you have to admire the splendid panorama that you getfrom the top of the plateau of the nearby Pranu Sartu (look at my photos), the center seems to be set between two capes literally carpeted with lush vegetation of cysts, gorse and junipers.
