Port and resort town

The port and resort town of Ballycastle (Baile an Chaisil) in County Antrim marks the eastern end of the Causeway coastal way. If you´re coming from Belfast, it´s the best place to start. It is a beautiful village with a good beach and a port for ferries that travel to the island of Rathlin. It has population somewhere between 4,500 and 10,000 people. I went in winter but it felt like summer because the population was quite high and the number of accommodation options was amazing. There are camping options, bed and breakfasts or hotels. Most of the restaurants can be found at the end of Quay Road.

The view is incredible.

Excellent

The town of Ballycastle is small but really nice and on the coast of Northern Ireland.
