Very interesting
The Balloch tourist info office is very interesting and a must visit if you want to tour the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Parks. The Trossachs are the mountain range surrounding the lake. The whole area is now protected, but camping is allowed and you can make fires, as long as you clean everything up the next day. To reach the information office it is in front of the station if you are taking the train from Glasgow. By car, find the pier where boats depart to tour the lake. At the information office you find some souvenirs from the region, very well made maps of the trails, and comprehensive information on Scotland to continue your trip.
