Tourist Information

The tourist information office is located in Blyth Library, in the heart of the village and opposite the bus station. Open daily from 8:30 am to 5 pm, except on Wednesdays and Sundays. Be aware that is closes for one hour at lunchtime as only one person Works there. There is information particularly Blyth Valley, located approximately 20km north of Newcastle. The region has a great natural beauty and sporting activities abound. Golf, sailing, cycling, horseriding, or simply walking. The weather is pretty sweet for northern England, particularly from March to September . They have a list of accomodation, bed and breakfasts are the best option.

Sometimes there are half a dozen rooms, sometimes just one in a beautiful house. Meals can be ordered in advance. The office has the telephone numbers of all the B&Bs recognized by the borough, Blyth Town Hall that is.
