Good hostel but not during winter
Touran is a Hostel which is in an old house. It is very picturesque and is less than a block away from Hangzhou Zoo. It has a small common room decorated with traditional oriental furniture, a big library, a few tables where you can eat food, a pool table, DVD service, Wii and computers with free internet. The staff gives a special touch, as they are very open and have very good English. I had some nice days there but what is not recommended, is to go in winter, as I did. The place is very cold and we passed near the burning embers, as it was freezing outside. Beyond that, the hostel is highly recommended, "close" to the West Lake, one of the main attractions of Hangzhou, for those who like to walk, do not take more than 20 minutes to get to it.
