Tortillería Flash Flash

Flash Flash is one of the best "tortillerías" I have ever been to. The decoration is modern and retro at the same time, since the modern furniture is combined with some elements (like the waiters' outfit) reminding me a lot the aesthetic of Spanish restaurants in the 60s and 70s.

The food is really good. They have a menu, and even though it is not especially cheap (17€), it is very good with abundant portions. When I went with some friends, the meal was a Spanish omelet as a starter, hamburger and fries as a main dish and for dessert a cheesecake with strawberry sauce.

The first time I went I was flabbergasted. I had heard of this place and seen it in a documentary, but when I went I really liked the atmosphere and the number of dishes to choose from. It is amazing to see how many things you can do with a simple "tortilla", and the hamburger can be qualified as a "religious experience". Without a doubt a good place to have dinner with friends or in couple, with quality ingredients.

Some of the best tortillas I've had in Madrid. A cosy place with good service. They are famous for their tortillas stuffed with all fillings, but the meat is not inferior at all!
