When I take an adventure trip, like I did, you want to share and experience the customs of where you travel. It's essential you eat the same things that the locals eat, so remember tourist restaurants don't have the same flavors. My experience told me to eat a few times in a taqueria torteria, as that would help you to integrate, tasting what they taste. Plus, it's cheap, I think a chicken taco I had was 20 pesos (or less than a euro), it's tasty, and it mixes with various sauces. I had dinner at 3 places. I recommend it 100%
