Part of the coastal surveillance tower system

I believe that most people who reach the lighthouse, do not turn around and stop seeing this tower that was part of the system of coastal surveillance towers ordered by Felipe II in the sixteenth century. Already only by the views that there is to the other side of the coast it is worth reaching. These towers were erected to protect a large part of the Spanish coasts from Berber piracy.
