Playa de Torimbia

Near Posadas de Llanes in western Asturias, “in front” of the Picos de Europa, is Niembro, village that is part of the Concejo de Llanes. From there you can go by car to the beach, although I recommend walking along a beautiful path up to the beautiful shore.

Greens up to the sea, soft mounts, ferns, the ocean and the sound of seagulls. There, after going town to the sand you can take your clothes off, gambol, walk and bathe in the calm waters if the weather allows it.

A beautiful place.

To have breakfast looking to towards the sea in the hotel “La Portilla”, to take the path from the beach of Toranda that takes you to Torimbia, to go down towards the sand, to take all your clothes off and run to the water is something that you have to do at least once in a lifetime. You can stay to see the sunset, and when the sun is setting and it leaves a trace of light in the water you can walk towards the sea following the orange trail and feel so alone, so happy, so complete.

Niembro is a good place to access the beautiful nudist beach of Torimbia, with a nice atmosphere on the weekends.

Traditionally it is a nudist beach, but people with swimsuits also go there.

It is a must see because of the beach itself and because of the magnificent views of the coast.
