Top of the Rock

Before coming to New York a friend told me to go up to Top of the Rock, which is much better than the Empire State. Well, I listened. It is wonderful to see Manhattan virtually from the sky. I suffer from vertigo so I stayed about 3 feet away from the glass, and it was worth it. We were there in the morning, at about 11:00 and the truth is that it was a treat because there were no lines and very few people went up. The price if I remember correctly is about $20 for each adult.

The Top of the Rock is the best alternative to the Empire State Building, and has equally good if not better views and, more importantly, smaller lines! Well, the lines are pretty long, but not by New York standards anyways. You can also check out the NBC Studios and try to get tickets to a filming. Aside from that, not too much that you just have to see, but the views are worth every penny.
