An interesting cafe
One of the most interesting cafes in Trieste, still preserving that perfect Viennese style, typical of the Habsbug era. It was opened in 1830, and has always been a meeting place for businessmen and politicians. The 1997 restoration has kept the original style, with mirrors, statues, and decorations by Lorenzo Gatteri. Delicious cakes and sweets, and it regularly hosts art exhibitions and live music.
