A Tomb at the Beach
Perhaps a poet's dream fulfilled. Drachmann was a renowned Danish writer who honored the seafaring life, youth, fairies and princesses. As a traveler, he lived in various countries and wrote the book, "Shadows". His funeral urn, designed by JF Willumsen, was buried in a tomb designed by PS Krøyer, in Skagen, the northernmost part of the country, in 1908. It's near the Grenen beach and the Skagen Lighthouse. The Natural Park allows you to enjoy a spectacular seascape.
