Tobago Cays

On a Caribbean cruise, one of the stops was Tobago. The tour went on all day and it included a lengthy catamaran ride. We passed several islands and the water ranged from the darkest blue to more tropical green. The islands were what we all imagine the Caribbean is like: white sand, clear water, palm trees. We reached a small insignificant island, just a rock. But what a beach! The landscape is idyllic.

I was so beyond lucky to have the most amazing experience in Tobago Cays. I got to swim with sea turtles! I had never seen one up close before and you can't help but consider this type of thing paradise. The weather was gorgeous but more importantly, seeing these beautiful animals in their natural habitat is just amazing!
