A satisfying experience
TK Restaurant is home to what's probably the best couscous in Alicante. It's very small, but beautifully decorated, and is really a very welcoming place. The chef goes to the city's central market every day in search of the best raw materials. The cuisine is mostly Mediterranean, but there are also some Arabic touches. The menus change frequently, so there's always something to surprise you. The couscous is very filling, so I usually just order one course, although last time I went, they gave me a free spoon with wasabi-coated cheese as a free amuse bouche. The couscous is made with lamb, vegetables, nuts and beans, accompanied by a delicious broth and a bit of hot sauce for the daring.
