Tiger Cave Temple

You have to go a bit outside of the city to reach the base of the hill where you'll begin the 1237 steps to the Tiger Cave Buddha. Reaching this large golden statue is a tiring and sweaty affair, but the effort is worth it for the amazing views you have when you arrive. The monks actually hike the route on a daily basis. In the area surrounding the hill there are several monasteries and a meditation center.

The tiger cave temple is an ancient buddhist temple built on the top of a mountain. To reach the gold Buddha on top, you need to pass by the 1237 rock stairs and by the adorable monkeys. Can be very hard for some people but when you're finished, you can feel very proud. The view is incredible though.
