Three Sisters

The Glen Coe is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever visited. Seeing how the rich and varied landscape changes from the lowlands of Scotland to the Highlands is a real adventure. And if you are lucky enough to have a guide who is happy to tell you the story of the ancient inhabitants of the area, all the better. If we say that the name of Glen Coe comes from a slaughter which occurred in 1600, you can imagine what life was like in the valley. The lowlands are protected by a mountain and a stream of air which causes the temperature to drop and the Glen Coe is completely at the mercy of the elements.
