Another friendly bar
Thomas Cubit is another friendly bar on Ebury Street, Pimlico - a residential neighborhood that's within walking distance of Victoria train and bus stations. Many people gather there after work as it's convenient and they then go home by public transport. The restaurant is named after the famous architect who designed the neighborhood and part of Belgravia. It's a beautiful old pub, with large windows open to the street. There are a few tables outside and it's always very busy. The menu is mostly traditional English country kitchen, with some French inspired dishes. On Sunday they serve a Sunday roast (beef or pork) and there's fresh seafood.
There's a formal area to eat, with higher prices, but the bar has a decent menu and good value.
