Woolpack Inn

The Woolpack Inn is possibly one of the oldest pubs in Scotland. It has been operating continuously since 1483 and there are some documents which mention a bar in the area as far back as the early 13th century. You can find it right when you enter Mill Glen and once you enter you feel like you've penetrated into the very heart of the town. It's a warm, cozy place with local beer and a good mix of hikers and locals.

The Woolpack also has a pretty decent menu with good food at very good prices. All in all, The Woolpack Inn is a local pub with a mountain charm and good atmosphere and personality.
