The Villa´s Door

On seeing the sign in the street saying "Puerta de la Villa", we stumbled upon this place. We expected to find a door in the wall, but we were disappointed, as now there is nothing left. Instead there are beautiful gardens set in a rectangular plaza with lawns and trees under which there are wooden benches where you can sit and relax. There is also a children's play area. The square is surrounded by several buildings used by the public services: An institute of secondary education, a sports center, the health center, the civil guard barracks, the morgue (about 50 meters away there is the cemetery),
