VAEA is the Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts. This dream began over 20 years ago, supported by people who believe in the transformative power of art and culture as agents of change. It supports visual arts, performance, dance, music and short films. Each year the Paez Medal of Arts is awarded and winners have included the Venezuelan master of "Op Art" Carlos Cruz Diez and the American Robert Wilson.
