Ferveda Falls

One of the most unique spots of Silleda is Férveda Fervenza, a small river formed in Férveda (Escuadro). It is worth seeing, not only for the waterfall, but the surrounding area with its forests of oak, chestnut, birch, hazels, etc and the meadows and farms where the few locals keep their livestock. You access the road from Férveda, then continue on foot to the river on a dirt road to the waterfall. You can do a good walking tour, following the direction of As Brañas Xestoso. It is less crowded and more interesting to do Toxa Fervenza but not as straightforward.

The Toja River´s Falls

In Silleda County (Pontevedra), the river Ulla is the third longest river after the Minho and Galicia Sil. From the estuary of the Ria de Arosa it becomes a naturally wide corridor which receives contributions from a dense network of rivers and tributaries of the Sar, Rosalia de Castro and Deza. A beautiful hiking trail connects the waterfall and the Monastery. The hardness of the stone creates the most spectacular waterfall in Galicia. If water is life, the waterfall represents Toja as the joy of living.

Melide Waterfall

Hello, O s highly recommend this wonderful little corner of nature, called A Capela near Melide in A Coruña. It is a haven of peace and beauty, where you will feel intoxicated listening to the sounds of nature. Do not fail to go if you have a chance.
