One of the few civilian buildings preserved

At the end of the Roman Forum you see a huge building, finished with Doric columns which frame it perfectly and serves as backup to the square of Rome. The Tabularium was built in the first century in order to be an a place for filling in official documents. Its facade is still intact, unlike the other buildings of the forum.
