The State
One of the best pubs in Glasgow. The decor is very nice and the waiters are very friendly. On Thursday night there is live jazz or blues. As a drink I recommend "The Lawyer". If you don't know what to choose (understandable, given the wide range of drinks), you can ask a waiter to recommend something.
