If you like homemade bread made with sourdough and old style pastries you can not miss this place! If you're in Portland and you think the lobster is insipid, it's time to go to this bakery so that at least dessert will leave a good taste in your mouth. It's located in a red brick market. They have a bakery and they sell to the public too. Each day they make a different bread as proven by the board at the entrance: Oat, mold, figs and anise etc. Break the bank with the goodies made on the day and the delicious cakes: croissants, lemon tarts, chocolate and raisin cookies, carquinyolis, and blueberry muffins.
