The Shops at North Bridge

If there's something missing from the Magnificent Mile, it definitely isn't shops. This large shopping center is one of four which supplements the area's shopping and is characterized by a Nordstrom on two levels, a third of top brand stores, and a fourth floor food court. But this isn't fast food, the cuisine in this large mall is geared more to the upper-middle class, or, as Americans say, 'white collar,' so there are nice restaurants. As for shopping, its what you expect: luxurious decoration, known brands, high prices. Macy's is a step below the other major department stores like Macy's or Neiman Marcus, so maybe it's less chic than the rest of Magnificent Mile, but you won't exactly be bargain hunting here.
