The Shops and Streets of Utila

Besides being known as Mecca for divers, the beautiful island of Utila in the Caribbean could be considered a global benchmark Caribbean sight. In the streets we find that atmosphere of tranquility, sometimes excessively, good food, but it's oh so hot there! In case you go in rainy season stick to what we know: it will rain for a while every day without fail. Most shops on the island are dedicated to diving equipment and basic food products. Being an island so small and difficult to access (only come two ferries a day), the products are quite expensive, but much less than neighboring island Roatan.
