The Ship Inn is a hidden gem. It's situated in Worplesdon Road, Guildford as you are leaving the city. At first glance, it is just like any other pub. It has an incredible atmosphere. It is special, because the owner married a Thai lady who makes amazing food. I recommend that if you're going with a group you reserve beforehand because this lady is alone in the kitchen and sometimes she has to serve 6 or 8 people, so service may be a little slow, but the food is worth it. The fried starters are a selection of delicacies that you can share. You can order between two or three plates, they are handmade and I highly recommend them.
