A floating museum
A trip on a yacht may seem like a strange idea in Edinburgh's climate. But it's great fun to find the former private yacht of the royal family anchored in the port area of Leith. You'll enjoy the over sized banquet hall and luxurious private room where Charles and Diana used to relax playing scrabble. This floating museum explains the history of the royal family and the yacht, as well as the more general history of the British navy. There is a restaurant on board where you can pretend to be royalty enjoying a cup of tea!
