The Roosevelt Room es, en mi opinión, la mejor coctelería de Austin. En primer lugar, el ambiente es impresionante - velas, butacas íntimas con cojines de terciopelo rojo, techos altos, paredes de ladrillo expuesto, y escenas de películas clásicas proyectadas por encima de la barra. Es exactamente el tipo de lugar que invita a pasar horas disfrutando de la conversación y, por supuesto, unos cócteles buenísimos.
Su menú de cócteles es extenso y dividido por épocas, desde algunos de los primeros cócteles jamás creados en el siglo XIX como el Sazerac (whisky de centeno, bitters y ajenjo) o Manhattan (whisky de centeno y vermut dulce) hasta las creaciones de la era de la Prohibición como el Hemingway Daiquiri e incluso cócteles horteras de los años 70 como Mai Tais, todos creados con amor por los expertos barman.

The Roosevelt Room is, in my opinion, the best cocktail bar in Austin. First, the atmosphere is amazing - candles, intimate seats with red velvet cushions, high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and scenes from classic movies projected above the bar. It is exactly the kind of place that invites you to spend hours enjoying the conversation and, of course, real good cocktails. Their cocktail menu is extensive and divided by ages, from some of the first cocktails ever created in the nineteenth century as the Sazerac (rye whiskey, bitters and absinthe) or Manhattan (rye whiskey, sweet vermouth) to Creations Prohibition was like Hemingway Daiquiri cocktails and even corny 70s as Mai Tais, all created with love by the expert barman. If you can, try to go during happy hour (17-19, Wednesday to Saturday) for a selection of cocktails like Margaritas, Old Fashioned, Vodkadoras and Negronis just $ 6.00. I asked a couple of Old Fashioneds (bourbon, bitters, and orange peel) and were adictamente good. Soft, sweet, and with a bright orange flavoring. If you are looking for a sophisticated place to go to Austin, I recommend the Roosevelt Room 100%.
