Campo Valdés Roman Baths Museum

Since 1995 in Gijón it has been possible to visit the Roman baths in Campo Valdés. They were discovered the Church of San Pedro, which is above them, was being renovated. These small baths which are in very good condition show us what the roman baths were like, its influence on daily life and how they managed to keep the water hot. Apart from the baths, several panels were excavated. There is an introductory video and information boards. A visit is highly recommended for anyone ve likes to see Roman history. Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:30. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: 10:00-14:00 and 17:00-19:30.
