The Pinsapar
Whatever the Sierra de Grazalema did to deserve the title of Biosphere Reserve from UNESCO, I mean aside from its having 1,400 plant species, its extensive pinaspar, and being an awesome forest formed by the fir trees that grow very slowly and can reach more than 20 feet high. Its rarity is that it's a relic of the coniferous forests that existed in the Tertiary and that have been disappearing in other places. The visit is restricted and you can do it with a guided tour, but you'll have to apply for a spot if you want to explore this unique space, in which the small valleys abound and are colored by the azaleas.
