Delicious Scottish cakes
The typical dishes are the Scottish haggis, and the salmon pie.
Just off the Royal Mile, halfway between the Castle and Holyrood Palace, there is this little shop that sells good and cheap pie.
They come in all types, from vegetarian, with meat and even desserts .
We tried the chicken and vegetables (£1.95 each), the Scotch pie (£ 0.85 each) and haggis pie (£1.20 each) .
The restaurant is very small but there are some stools to sit and eat . Otherwise, if it's a beautiful day I suggest you sit on benches at Hunter Square, which is right in front.
