The Peak

This is of the most famous places in Hong Kong, and rightly so. Going up to this lookout is like being at the top of the world. The view of Hong Kong's skyscrapers is unbeatable...you can really spend hours there. I went up at night and it was amazing, but it's nice during the day too. There are lots of places near the lookout to get a drink too, and maybe even have dinner with a view afterwards. When you're finished, you can also go down on foot and enjoy the views every step of the way.

Victoria Peak, or Mount Austin, is a beautiful mountain in Hong Kong. It is, to give you an idea of the location, in the west of Hong Kong Island and about 550 m high, which makes it the highest place on the island. This mountain offers spectacular views of Hong Kong, so you cannot imagine the amount of visits received year after year.

There is a tram station (called The Peak Tram) that will take you straight there. The trip is quite interesting because, since it is an ascension, you go up practically quasi-vertical and the feeling is weird. So I encourage you to go up and you'll see one

The Peak located on the island of Hong Kong gives the best views of the island and the Kowloon peninsula. It is worth taking the tram that goes down about a ninety degree slope until you reach your destination, The Peak.

Fantastic views of Hong Kong Island both day and night, take a trip on the funicular or take the bus which has very good views on its journey to the Peak. Lots of thing to do when you are at the top like good restaurants bars and much more.

Leave the queues for the tram behind and walk your way up to the top (about 30 min). The views are great. Take the tram back down (as there are usually no queues at the top).

And asked my driver to take me to the heart of Hong Kong. Note that it was 9am so he told me there was nothing to do downtown at the time and suggested I go to Victoria Peak, instead.
