Streets and benches with palaces and swords
The urban fabric has retained the configuration that it obtained during the 13th Century. Basically it consists of two rooms or "cerquos" walled separated by the square of Carlos III. It is one of the most monumental palaces to be found in the city, built in the Renaissance style, corresponding to the 16th and 17th Centuries. In San Francisco there is a magnificent palace dating back to the early 17th Century, but there are also many showy Baroque palaces with rococo coats of arms are dotted throughout the old town. The palace of the Marquis of Feria is worth mentioning, which you can find at number
37 in the Rua Mayor, it is currently the House of Culture, which has a monumental façade which highlights the shield very run down and the rich brick eaves and moldings geometric work.
