The Old School

The Cultural Center Escoles Velles - from 1961 this was a public school in the center of Begur until the doors of the new school opened in mid-1970. Currently it is mentioned in the tourist routes of the historic center. It also hosts several cultural agencies, including: The public library Salvador Raurich, Nursery, an Exhibit Hall & Events, the local radio station and the historical record. Significantly, from the main entrance you can see a beautiful courtyard.
