Old New Synagogue

The Old - New Synagogue is the oldest in Europe (built in 1270) and one of the most important synagogues in the whole world. According to legend, the synagogue was built from the remains of the destroyed Second Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70. Women were allowed into the synagogue on the day of their wedding.
