Central Park Mall

Dating back to the late nineteenth century, Central Park covers 341 hectares. The Mall is a lovely walk along the south side of the park leading up to the Lake and the Bethesda Fountain. The path is full of statues and plaques dedicated to great writers, and there are always musicians playing everything from jazz to traditional Serbian music, as well as mimes and tourists.

The Mall has to be the most famous part of Central Park. This is a wide avenue lined with numerous statues of famous writers. There are also benches, and hawkers selling souvenirs. My sister wanted to see this place as she's a real movie buff, and had seen it before on the big screen so many times! It is indeed a lovely place to take a stroll.
