Esta enorme escultura se eleva a orillas de la bahía de Hudson, mirando al Artico, en homenaje y respeto a los primeros poblados indígenas de la zona, los Inuit.
Esta población de esquimales vivió centenares de años antes de la llegada del hombre blanco y aún hoy muchos de los lugareños de Churchill tienen raíces Inuit, aunque su cultura se ha perdido en favor de la cultura occidental.
This huge sculpture rises on the shores of the Bay of Hudson, looking at Artico, in homage and respect to the first indigenous villages in the area, the Inuit. This population of Eskimos lived hundreds of years before the arrival of the white man and even today many of the locals have roots Inuit Churchill, although their culture is lost in favor of Western culture.
