The Village Inn
This is a unique lodging and place of refreshment in the village of Dunning. In earlier times, this pub (former inn) was the heart of town, where all the locals went to socialize, drink and hang out in good company. The building has not been touched since Victorian times and according to Michael, the current owner, probably even earlier. It seems that there was always an inn there, even since medieval times. It's a good place for a casual meal, a typical Scottish pub serving traditional dishes like haggis. The quality and price are good. The selection of beers is more than good, and is predominantly Scottish.
